The goal of the training is to find job seekers with an expert profile and a higher education degree and to train them into top experts for the growing high technology industry, which suffers from a shortage of skilled people.

The application process for DevEd RecruitmentTraining and the recruitment of trainees are carried out in cooperation with Talentree, ELY Centre and TE services. The training’s partner companies and job descriptions will be announced later, but future experts can participate in the training from all over Finland.

The training has already been organized 10 times: more than 83% of those who completed the training are currently employed (most of them at their former internship)!

General information

The training includes an on-the-job training period (80 days) in a partner company, personal sparring and coaching (8 hours), a development task assignment and group training related to special expertise in the field of software development (8 days). The employer partner is responsible for introducing the company’s operating culture and on-the-job learning during the internship, and participates in the supervision of the jointly agreed development task. The content of the training is tailored to the needs of the employer partner and expert around the following themes which are delved into in needs-based sparring related to the development task:

  1. Industry know-how & technical expertise: Frontend – UI/UX Design – Material Design, Frontend Development – React, Backend Development – Node.JS, Backend Development – Data Models and SQL, Beyond the Code, Cloud platforms and cyber security in SW Development.
  2. Project development expertise: e.g. planning and implementation of company-oriented development entities, Scrum, GitLab, Jira & Confluence.
  3. Marketing & sales expertise: e.g. general understanding marketing and sales, professional sales skills in worklife, implementing software project under company strategy.
  4. Quality & risk management expertise: e.g. software life cycle, responsibility, cybersecurity, quality and risk management.
  5. Work life skills: content will be tailored based on the needs of the trainees.

 

What do we offer for companies?

RecruitmentTraining is a great way to bring new experts to your company! The aim of the training is to ensure the availability of a skilled workforce for growing companies through tailor-made needs-based training. Applicants with higher education who already have a sufficient expert profile and experience will be sought for the training together with a potential future employer.

The employer partner will be offered by Kasve:

  • preparation of the application description and marketing
  • applicant recruitment process
  • evaluations of the suitability of the applicants
  • pre-selection and interview process
  • need-based and tailored training for the selected applicant
  • personal monitoring and coaching of the trainee
  • need-based company sparring and induction support

 

The application phase is risk-free and effortless! Together, we will prepare a job description suitable for the company’s needs, on the basis of which the expert search will be launched. From the resulting pool of applicants, the company will be able to select the best applicants for a job interview based on Kasve’s recommendation. Kasve pre-interviews the candidates and the employer partner chooses the trainee. Commitment to take part as employer partner only takes place once the expert has been selected and the training can begin

The costs of the recruitment training are divided between the ELY centre (70%) and the participating company (30%). The company’s participation fee is only €3,000 + VAT. / expert (no other hidden or personnel costs)! Employment through recruiting training is much easier and cheaper than direct recruitment.
